NCSSM Students Connect with Local Innovators at Grep-a-Palooza
Nine students from the Colopy Entrepreneurship Program at NCSSM recently participated in Grep-a-Palooza, one of the Triangle’s premier events celebrating startups, venture capital, and tech innovation. Volunteering their time to support the event, the students gained a unique behind-the-scenes experience while rubbing elbows with some of the region’s most dynamic founders, funders, and thought leaders.
Between panel discussions, networking sessions, and casual conversations, students explored topics ranging from startup funding and product development to navigating the ups and downs of entrepreneurial life. Their initiative, curiosity, and professionalism were recognized by event organizers and attendees alike, an inspiring reminder that the next generation of North Carolina entrepreneurs is already taking shape.
This hands-on experience gave students a powerful glimpse into the real-world startup ecosystem, reinforcing the program’s mission to connect learning with lived entrepreneurial practice. We're proud of their engagement and look forward to seeing where their curiosity and courage take them next.
